Beth Epstein

Beth Epstein is a Professor at the University of Virginia School of Nursing and affiliated with the School of Medicine Center for Health Humanities and Ethics. She teaches ethics and pharmacology.

Education:

• BS in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester
• MS in Pharmacology from the University of Virginia
• BSN and PhD in Nursing from the University of Virginia

Research Interests:

• Moral distress and ethical issues in healthcare
• Impact of organizational factors on healthcare ethics
• Health humanities and clinical ethics
