Bertrand Rime

Bertrand Rime is a Professor at the Institute for Economic Research of the University of Neuchâtel and Director of the Financial Stability Division at the Swiss National Bank (SNB). He has held visiting positions at institutions such as the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and actively contributes to international financial regulation through the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision.

Research Interests: His work focuses on banking regulation, financial market dynamics, competition policy, and the real economy's interaction with financial intermediation. He also engages with macroprudential policy, monetary policy, and climate risk assessment frameworks.

Teaching: He teaches the Economics of Regulation at the Master's level.
