Benjamin Sovacool

Prof. Benjamin Sovacool is a Professor of Energy Policy at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) within the University of Sussex Business School. He specializes in global energy policy, climate change adaptation, and energy justice. His work bridges technical and social dimensions of energy transitions, with a focus on policy effectiveness, decarbonization pathways, and equity issues.

**Education**: PhD in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University (2003), MS in Environmental Economics from University of Rhode Island (2000), BS in Political Science from Virginia Tech (1998).
