Benjamin Loos

Associate Professor Benjamin Loos is a finance academic specializing in fintech, behavioral finance, and household finance. He holds positions at the University of New South Wales (UNSW Business School, School of Banking and Finance) as Associate Professor and Program Director for the Master of Financial Technology. He is also a tenured W3 Professor of Digital Finance at Technical University of Munich (TUM School of Management), Director of the Master in Finance and Information Management (FIM), and has held roles at institutions like University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and Mannheim Business School.

His research focuses on solutions to individual investor mistakes through financial advice innovations, ETFs, and digital tools.
