Ben T. Phillips

Ben T. Phillips is a Professor of Educational Leadership at Union University. He holds an Ed.D. and M.S. in Educational Leadership from the University of Memphis, and a B.S. from Freed-Hardeman University.

• Research focus areas include educational leadership, school funding mechanisms, teacher job satisfaction, and standardized testing (ACT) preparation.
• 2012-2013 Pew Research Grant recipient for cognitive strategies in test-taking research.
• Extensive dissertation committee chair experience (20+ students chaired since 2011).
• Active presenter on education topics including school funding, curriculum scheduling, and digital pedagogy.
