Ben Bone

Ben Bone serves as the Senior Student Success Tutor (Student Engagement) at Teesside University, part of the Student Learning & Academic Registry's Student Success team. He specializes in supporting disengaged students through 1:1 coaching, re-motivating them to succeed academically. His role also involves coordinating university-wide student engagement initiatives.

Before joining Teesside University in 2021, Ben worked at the University of Manchester, where he managed the PASS (Peer-Assisted Study Sessions) and Peer Mentoring programs. His expertise lies in fostering student success through structured support systems.

Ben’s work focuses on improving academic engagement and retention strategies, with a particular emphasis on creating inclusive and motivating environments for students facing academic challenges.
