Professor Ben Allanach is a Professor of Theoretical Physics at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP), University of Cambridge, and holds a Professorial Fellowship at Clare Hall since 2025. He is a member of the DAMTP High Energy Physics research group and the Cambridge Pheno Working Group at the Cavendish Laboratory.
- Research Focus: Particle phenomenology, interpreting CERN data for new particles/forces, and exploring gauge extensions of the Standard Model.
- Key Areas: Z′ bosons, flavor anomalies, supersymmetry, Higgs physics, and anomaly cancellation.
- Education: Lectures Part III (Master's level) and offers YouTube lectures.
