Becky Zavada

Dr. Becky Zavada is an Associate Professor in the Department of Language and Literature at Wayne State College, where she teaches philosophy and English. She holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2013) and a B.A. in Philosophy from Providence College (1999, summa cum laude). Her research specializes in philosophy of science, philosophy of social science, metaphysics, social/political philosophy (including feminism), and ethics. She has lived in multiple U.S. states and South Africa, with formative experiences such as working in the Kaibab National Forest, which inspired her passion for teaching.
