Basil Germond is a Professor of International Security at Lancaster University's School of Global Affairs, where he co-directs the interdisciplinary research institute Security Lancaster. He also holds a Visiting Fellowship at the Royal Navy Strategic Studies Centre and is affiliated with the Centre for War and Diplomacy and the ESRC Centre for Corpus Approaches to Social Science (CASS).
