Prof. Dr. Barbara Schäuble is a Professor for Diversity-Aware Approaches in Social Work Theory and Practice at the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin since 2013. Previously, she held acting professorships at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Holzminden-Hildesheim-Göttingen (2011–2013) and was a Research Associate at the University of Kassel (2009–2011). Her doctoral studies (2005–2009) were funded by the Hans Böckler Foundation. Prior academic roles included practice in youth work, migration law advice, and political advising.
