Prof. Barbara Parisi is a faculty member at Temple University Rome, teaching courses in Italian Language, Italian Studies, Contemporary Italian Literature and Culture, Italian Cinema, and Sociology. She is also affiliated with American universities in Rome since 1999.

Prof. Parisi is also a professional musician, composing for RAI films and collaborating with renowned Italian jazz artists. She is certified in Pilates and Postural Gymnastics, teaching in Rome-based gyms since 1997.
