Dr. Barbara Crow serves as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen's University. She holds a PhD in Sociology from York University (1994), and prior roles include Associate Vice-President and Dean of Graduate Studies at York University. Her research focuses on digital technologies' societal impacts, including mobile media, gender studies, and telecommunications policy. She co-founded the Mobile Media Lab and wi: a journal of mobile media, and leads the SSHRC-funded ACT project on aging and communication technologies.
