Dr. Barbara Buttin is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at City of Hope National Medical Center, where she joined in September 2021. As a board-certified gynecologic oncologist, she evaluates and treats patients with various gynecologic malignancies including ovarian, cervical, uterine, vaginal and vulvar cancers. With over 15 years of experience in the field, Dr. Buttin has established herself as a leader in minimally invasive surgical techniques and gynecologic cancer research.
Dr. Buttin received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine (formerly Hahnemann University) in Philadelphia. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology and fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
