Dr. Barbara Beznec is an Associated Member at the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research (BIM) of Humboldt University of Berlin. She holds the academic rank of Researcher at the Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, where she focuses on migration-related issues across Europe. Her work spans three decades of research on post-Yugoslav migration dynamics, citizenship theories, and European border regimes.
