Anna Krasteva

Professor Anna Krasteva is a distinguished academic at New Bulgarian University's Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Political Sciences. She holds the prestigious title of Doctor honoris causa from the University of Lille 3, France, and has served as a visiting professor at numerous prestigious institutions including the Institute of Political Studies in Paris and Lille, the Institute of European Studies, University of Paris 8, University of Metz, Ecole normale superieure in Lyon, and the Institute for Advanced Studies in Nantes.

Her research spans critical areas of contemporary political science including migration studies, post-communist transitions, European integration, digital citizenship, populism, and border studies.
