Barbara Acord

Barbara Acord is an Assistant Professor and Director of Simulation and Faculty in the Nurse Anesthesiology Program at Mary Baldwin University. She has practiced as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at the University of Virginia Medical Center for 15 years, specializing in neuro-anesthesia, trauma, orthopedics, and general surgery. Her research focuses on Focused Ultrasound in collaboration with UVA Neurosurgery.
