Banjo Roxas

Dr. Banjo Roxas is an Education-focused Lecturer in the Management Discipline Group at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Business School. He has over 25 years of academic experience across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Sweden, the Philippines, and Vietnam. His research focuses on sustainable strategic choices of firms, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in emerging economies, exploring their resilience in volatile global environments. He teaches strategic perspectives of organizational change, innovation, and international business.

His research interests include institutional analysis, strategic configurations, and sustainability frameworks. He sits on editorial boards of Business Strategy and Environment and Business Strategy and Development. Recent work examines e-governance in Asia, psychological safety in workplaces, and innovation dynamics in SMEs. He leads funded research on disruptive technologies in healthcare and strategic orientations of firms in frontier economies.
