Azadeh SAVOLI

Azadeh SAVOLI is an Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence at SKEMA Business School (France) and previously held academic positions at IÉSEG School of Management (2014-2024). She earned her PhD in Information Technology from HEC Montréal (2014). Her research focuses on AI's impact on work practices, health IT systems, and human-computer interaction, with particular emphasis on patient self-management and IT affordances. She serves on editorial boards for key information systems journals and conferences, including the American Conference on Information Systems and the International Conference on Information Systems. Her work has been published in leading journals like MIS Quarterly and Systèmes d'Information et Management.

Her research explores how technology influences user emotions and behaviors in healthcare contexts, emphasizing patient-centric systems' design. She has pioneered frameworks linking IT features to organizational outcomes through affordance networks. Recent work examines AI's role in workplace performance and the psychological dimensions of health IT adoption. She co-chaired the DIGIT workshop at ICIS 2024 and participates in the Special Interest Group on Adoption and Diffusion of Information Technology (SIG ADIT).
