Axel Rudi is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social Anthropology, University of Oslo, since August 2024. His research investigates sovereignty, state formation, political violence, and emerging topics like drones and apocalypticism, primarily in Kurdistan (Iraqi, Turkish, Syrian) and Germany.
