Axel Müller-Schöll

Prof. Axel Müller-Schöll is a Professor of Interior Architecture and Building Construction at the Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle, part of the Design Faculty. He has held leadership roles including Dean (2002–2006) and Rector (2010–2014). He founded the Institute of Interior Design, Environment and Architecture. His work focuses on sustainable urban design, exhibition curation, and collaborative spatial solutions. He advises numerous students on projects ranging from adaptive urban planning to experimental design.

He collaborates with institutions like the GRASSI Museum and hosts events such as the Burg Summer School. His workshops explore body-motion design and interdisciplinary creativity.
