Avik Samanta

Dr. Avik Samanta directs the Laser-Aided Materials, Manufacturing and Processing (LAM²P) Laboratory as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Florida. His research advances laser-based fabrication of multifunctional materials including superhydrophobic surfaces, corrosion-resistant coatings, and stimuli-responsive systems for applications in energy, aerospace, and environmental sustainability.
