Aviah Day

Dr. Aviah Day is a Lecturer at the School of Social Sciences, Birkbeck, University of London. Her work integrates academic research with activism focused on domestic violence, social justice, and carceral feminism. Prior to academia, she worked in frontline domestic violence services including advocacy roles and helpline work. She is affiliated with Sisters Uncut (fighting cuts to domestic violence services) and the London Renters Union.
