Avery Merriel Smith

Avery Merriel Smith is a Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at Loyola University Chicago. She specializes in 20th Century Continental Philosophy, ethics, and metaphysics, integrating corporate ethics and Critical Race Theory into her research. Her interdisciplinary teaching approach combines philosophy with theology, history, sociology, mathematics, science, and the arts through cinema and literature.
