Atsuko Loser

Atsuko Loser is a Lecturer in the HED Education Unit under the Higher Education Development and University Services department at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Her career spans language teaching, banking, and translation roles. She holds a degree in English Language and Literature from Aoyama Gakuin University (1989–1993). Professional experience includes banking roles (1993–1997), English teaching in Japan (1998–1999), and Japanese language instruction in Switzerland since 2003. She has pursued continuous training in language pedagogy and higher education methodology.

Key certifications include the SVEB Certificate for Language Course Leaders (2006–2007) and the EUROLTA ICC Language Didactics Certification. She has provided translation and interpretation services for IMOswiss AG and the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (MAFF) (2009–2018). Since 2013, she has been affiliated with the Language Center of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences.

Her work focuses on language education innovation, adult learning strategies, and institutional educational development.
