Astrid Morales Torres

Astrid Morales Torres is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Music department at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is also a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University and serves as Executive Director of Education at the Piano Industry Professionals and Producers Conference.

Morales specializes in piano pedagogy, chamber music, and Latin American music advocacy. Her career includes extensive solo performances with orchestras across multiple countries, recordings of Mexican compositions, and leadership in cultural organizations like the Binational Cultural Forum of Mexican Artists. She has served as principal pianist for the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra and Fellow Pianist at the NorCal Music Festival.
