Askil Lænd Holm is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Songwriter and Artist Bachelor's program at the University of Agder's Faculty of Arts. He holds a unique dual role as both an academic and a Grammy-winning musician, having been a professional artist since 2000. His academic work focuses on songwriting pedagogy, music production, and cultural policy, while his artistic career includes solo work and collaborations with groups like Lind, Nilsen, Fuentes & Holm. Holm has pioneered educational programs in songwriting, establishing the BA and MA programs at UiA.
