Dr Ashleigh Dind is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the Australian National University (ANU) School of Medicine and Psychology and a practicing Clinical Cardiologist at Sydney Adventist Hospital and Hornsby Cardiac Diagnostic Unit. She holds additional appointments as an Honorary Medical Officer and researcher at Royal North Shore Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
- Graduated with MBBS (Hons) from UNSW and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)
- Subspecialty training in Cardiology Imaging at Prince of Wales Hospital and Specialist MRI
Her research focuses on differentiating myocarditis from infarction using advanced imaging techniques like echocardiography and MRI. She is also a dedicated medical educator, founding the HEART Course for Cardiology Trainees in 2021 and serving as an honorary clinical tutor for ANU students.
Dr Dind received a Heart Research Australia grant in 2022 to develop innovative diagnostic software for subclinical heart muscle abnormalities. Her work emphasizes non-invasive diagnostics and improving health outcomes through interdisciplinary research and education.
