Ashleigh Allgood is a Lecturer in the Department of Health Services Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in quality improvement, project management, healthcare strategy, and Lean Six Sigma. Her research focuses on trust in healthcare systems, medical sociology, and the integration of simulation and quality improvement methodologies. Currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Sociology, her work explores the social construct of trust and its impact on team performance and patient safety.
