Arup Ghosh

Dr. Arup Ghosh is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Jacksonville State University (JSU), leading the Human-Technology Interaction Research Lab (HTIR Lab). His work focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Digital Youth, and Social Computing, with a strong emphasis on improving adolescent online safety through value-sensitive design and AI integration. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science, including AI, HCI, and distributed systems. Dr. Ghosh has been honored with multiple awards, including Educator of the Year by the Engineering Council of Birmingham and IEEE Alabama, and serves in leadership roles within IEEE and ACM.
