Aroutis N. Foster

Aroutis Foster is Professor and Interim Dean at Drexel's School of Education. With a PhD from Michigan State University, he researches game-based learning and identity development.

He developed frameworks like ICCE (Inquiry, Communication, Construction, Expression) and Play Curricular Reflection Discussion (PCaRD) to integrate games into curricula. Projects include mobile learning apps for visual arts and computing workshops for girls.

His work examines how games mediate disciplinary knowledge construction and motivation, particularly in STEM education. Teaches graduate courses on learning technologies and game design.
