Armin Rohr

Armin Rohr is a Lecturer at the HBKsaar Evening School, where he has been teaching drawing courses since 2003. His primary teaching focus is on life drawing, figurative drawing, nude drawing, and urban sketching across multiple semesters.

His research and teaching interests center around practical drawing techniques and artistic skill development. Rohr specializes in helping students develop their abilities in life drawing and urban sketching, with a particular emphasis on observational skills and artistic expression in both studio and outdoor settings.

Rohr has documented the development of the evening school program through publications marking its five-year and ten-year anniversaries, demonstrating his commitment to the institution's growth and impact on the regional art community.

As a practicing artist, Rohr maintains his own creative work alongside his teaching responsibilities, living and working in Saarbrücken while continuing to develop his passion for painting that began during his student years.
