Argyriou Athanasios

Argyriou Athanasios is a Professor at the Department of Applied Physics, School of Sciences, University of Patras. His roles include Director of the Atmospheric Physics Laboratory (2006–2016), and leadership positions such as Chairman of the Department of Physics (2013–2015). He holds a Doctorate from Université de Provence (1987) and degrees from the University of Patras and Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble. His research focuses on Atmospheric Physics, Meteorology, and Energy-related studies.

He is a member of the Union of Greek Physicists, Hellenic Meteorological Society, and American Geophysical Union. His teaching includes courses on Atmospheric Physics, Mathematical Analysis, and Differential Equations.
