April D. Hennis Marchetti

Dr. April D. Hennis Marchetti is a Professor and holds multiple leadership roles at Randolph-Macon College: Director of Caminos a la Ciencia, Director of the Honors Program, Chair of the Education Department, and Chair of the Institutional Review Board. She specializes in equity-focused education, STEM access for marginalized groups, and chemistry education. With over $2.5 million in grant funding, her work emphasizes trauma-informed training and DEI initiatives.

• Education: PhD in Chemistry (Pennsylvania State University, 2001), BS in Chemistry (Randolph-Macon College, 1997)
