Apostolia Michael is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. She holds a BA in English and Greek Language and Literature (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, 2008) and an MA in English Literature (University of Westminster, London, 2010). She is CELTA-qualified (University of Cambridge, 2010). Her research focuses on enhancing motivation and autonomous learning in EFL/ESOL environments through technology.
She has extensive teaching experience in monolingual and multilingual settings, both domestically and internationally. She has designed and taught distance learning courses for the University of Nicosia's BBADL and BBADG programs. Notably, she presented at the CYTEA Conference (2018/2022), the 5th Teacher Development Day in TESOL (2018), and other professional development events focused on digital tools in education.
