Anze Ermenc

Anze Ermenc is a Senior Lecturer in Fashion Image and Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Fashion Art Direction at the Manchester Fashion Institute, Manchester Metropolitan University. His academic journey includes an MA in Fashion Graphics (2016) and a PGCert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (2017).

His recent work LOOKS (2023-2024) explores post-covid human-centric practices through interdisciplinary collaborations. He was awarded the IFFTI Initiative Award 2024 for this project. He also contributed to the Fashion Systems Conference (2019) on digital practices.

As Manchester Fashion Institute’s Department Showcase Lead, he oversees graduate exhibitions (e.g., Meet the Future 2024) and edits the MFI Graduate Publication. His teaching spans undergraduate (BA), foundation, and master’s (MA Design Network) levels, with industry partnerships like Sevenstore and Donghua University.
