Anton Paul Rittmeister

Anton Paul Rittmeister is a Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Private Law under Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Dr. h.c. Holger Fleischer, LL.M. (Univ. of Michigan). His research focuses on National and European Commercial and Company Law, Capital Market Law, and Comparative Law. He completed his law studies at the University of Hamburg between 2018 and 2024, earning his first state law exam in March 2024. Rittmeister has held multiple student assistant roles since 2020, including work under Prof. Dörte Poelzig at the University of Hamburg’s Chair for Civil Law and Prof. Fleischer’s research group. He is currently supervising his doctoral project under Prof. Fleischer and has prior experience as a research assistant at an international law firm.
