Anton Kronborg

Anton Kronborg is a Doctoral Research Fellow and PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science, University of Oslo, affiliated with the Faculty of Social Sciences. His research focuses on political behavior in non-democratic regimes, particularly former British colonies, using natural language processing (NLP) techniques on parliamentary debates and social media data.

He holds a BA and MSc in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen. Prior to his fellowship, he worked as a Research Assistant on the ELITE project (Elite Political Dynamics in Electoral Autocracies) at the Peace Research Institute Oslo, alongside roles in the Danish civil service and private enterprise.

His academic interests span Political Behavior, Comparative Politics, Authoritarianism, and Democratization, with methodological expertise in Natural Language Processing applied to Parliaments and Social Media analysis. He was recognized with the 'best thesis' award from the Centre for Parties and Voting at Copenhagen.
