Anthony Ware

Anthony Ware is Associate Professor of Humanitarianism and Development at Deakin University, researching conflict-affected humanitarian contexts with focus on Myanmar, Bangladesh, and Southeast Asia.

Holds PhD from Deakin University and leads projects on everyday peacebuilding and countering violent extremism.

Research expertise:

• Rohingya refugee crisis
• Conflict sensitivity frameworks
• Civil society in post-conflict settings

Authored 'Myanmar's Rohingya Conflict' and directs field research on community-led conflict transformation. Supervises doctoral candidates studying diaspora engagement and peace processes.
