Anthony Strange

Anthony Strange is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling, Leadership, and Educational Studies at Winthrop University's College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences. He holds degrees in Education (Ed.D.), Public Administration (M.P.A.), and dual bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Social Sciences.

His research focuses on multicultural counseling and student transitions across elementary, middle, high school, and post-secondary educational settings. He has extensive experience supervising internship and practicum students in K-12 and community mental health environments over 22 years.

Dr. Strange has presented nationally and internationally, served as Alaska School Counseling Association president, and developed specialized courses for professional educators and school counselors. He is actively affiliated with multiple counseling associations, including the American Counseling Association and South Carolina Counseling Association.
