Anthony Lawrence Rocco Fulginiti

Anthony Fulginiti is an Associate Professor at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work. His work focuses on leveraging social connections to prevent suicide, particularly among vulnerable populations. He holds a PhD from the University of Southern California (2016), an MSW from the University of South Florida (2005), and a BA in Psychology from the University of Tampa (2001). His research employs methodologies like social network analysis to study disclosure processes of suicidal thoughts and stigmatized identities.

Dr. Fulginiti's research highlights how individual and relational factors influence disclosure decisions. He has published studies on suicidal disclosure among individuals with serious mental illness and network-based risk factors for suicidal ideation in homeless youth. His teaching covers mental health assessment, research methods, and statistical analysis. He maintains clinical licensure (LCSW) with nearly a decade of experience in psychiatric and oncology care settings.
