Anthony Cleare is a Professor of Psychopharmacology & Affective Disorders at King's College London and a consultant psychiatrist at the Maudsley Hospital. He leads the Affective Disorders Research Group at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) and co-directs the Centre for Affective Disorders. His primary research focuses on treatment-resistant depression, bipolar disorder, and the neurobiological mechanisms of mood disorders. Prof Cleare has over 380 peer-reviewed publications and contributed to national guidelines, including the British Association for Psychopharmacology's Depression Guidelines.
