Anthony Calabro

Anthony Calabro is a Practitioner in Residence and Director of Internships at the Pompea College of Business, University of New Haven. With over three decades of experience as a Business Services Executive in domestic and international organization management, he specializes in driving sales growth through strategic promotional campaigns and optimizing business services structures for enhanced organizational effectiveness.

His career highlights include leading award-winning creative teams of up to 300 professionals in account management, design, and production, managing annual marketing budgets exceeding $150 million, and implementing global workflow standards that reduced costs and production times. At the University of New Haven, he has expanded internship opportunities from 148 in 2021 to over 540 in 2023 while teaching economics and supply chain management.

Previously, he held key roles at RR Donnelley and Pfizer Global R&D, where he transformed creative services departments through outsourcing strategies and process improvements. He holds an MBA from the University of New Haven and a BA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
