Ansuman Banerjee

Ansuman Banerjee is a Professor at the Advanced Computing and Microelectronics Unit of the Indian Statistical Institute in Kolkata, India. Previously, he was a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore and worked at Interra Systems India Pvt. Ltd. His research spans Edge and Cloud Computing, Formal Verification, and Reinforcement Learning, supported by grants from DST, DRDO, and industry partners like IBM and Microsoft.

• Education: B.E., M.S., and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Jadavpur University and Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

His research groups focus on Services Computing, Computer Architecture, and Formal Methods. He has supervised multiple Ph.D. students, including Soumi Chattopadhyay, Moumita Das, and ongoing advisees like Satyam Shubham and Sruti Goswami. Grants from DRDO, IBM, and Microsoft have funded his work in cloud computing and formal verification.
