Anne-Marie Turcan-Verkerk is a Professor at the École Pratique des Hautes Études (EPHE) within PSL University, holding the Chair of Latin Language and Literature of the Middle Ages. She directs the journal Archivum Latinitatis Medii Aevi on behalf of the Union Académique Internationale and leads the Institute of Rare Languages (ILARA) at EPHE since 2020.

Her research focuses on medieval Latin philology, codicology, and digital preservation of written heritage. She has spearheaded international collaborations such as the IIIF protocol with Stanford and projects like European Observatory of Written Heritage / Low Countries and Dictamina (2022-2026) with institutions in Italy, Belgium, and Germany.
She held administrative leadership roles including Vice-Dean of Research at PSL (2016-2018), Vice-President for Research at EPHE (2018-2020), and heads the Documentation and Dissemination of Knowledge division at PSL since 2018.
