Anne-Liese Juge Fox

Anne-Liese Juge Fox serves as an Instructor in the Department of Southeastern Theatre at Southeastern Louisiana University, teaching performance and theatre history with specialized expertise in mask improvisation.

Her academic credentials include:

• Theatre training at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts
• Studies at École Internationale de Théatre Jacques Lecoq in Paris
• Ph.D. in Theatre History, Literature, and Criticism from Louisiana State University

Her research integrates community-based applied theatre, new-play development, and devised improvisational performance, with significant focus on mask techniques. She actively adapts classical works and directs world-premiere productions through Southeastern’s Inkslinger Playwriting Contest.
