Anne Fish, PhD, RN, is a Professor in the Division of Nursing at Binghamton University's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences since September 2024. She holds editorial roles on Applied Nursing Research and previously Translational Journal of the American College of Sports Medicine. Her research focuses on cardiovascular health, diabetes, and international collaboration, with 16 publications stemming from China-based studies since 2011. She leads a visiting scholar program involving 12+ researchers from Nanjing and Shanghai, China.
Education: Postdoctoral training at University of Illinois-Chicago; PhD from University of Michigan; MSN and BSN from University of Texas, Galveston; Diploma from Ona M. Wilcox School of Nursing, Connecticut.
Research Interests: Includes chronic mental health conditions, health disparities, and EBP mechanisms for clinical guidelines in the U.S. and China. She chaired the EBP committee of the American College of Sports Medicine for six years to enhance guideline development.
Awards: Recognized as FAHA and FAAN. Published in top-tier journals like Nursing Research, Journal of International Studies, and Current Medical Research and Opinion.
Teaching Interests: Theory, rural nursing, international health policy, and curriculum design. Active in mentoring visiting scholars and advancing interdisciplinary healthcare education.
