Anne Boyter is Professor of Learning & Teaching at the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences (SIPBS), University of Strathclyde, where she also serves as Programme Director for the MPharm degree. She holds a PhD and MSc in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Strathclyde and a BSc in Pharmacy from Heriot-Watt University, along with a postgraduate certificate in Health Economics from the University of Aberdeen.

Her recent publications reflect a strong trend toward improving pharmacy education, professional competencies, and antibiotic stewardship, especially in clinical and international settings.

Anne actively supervises student research and leads multiple projects in collaboration with NHS Education for Scotland, focusing on curriculum development, preceptorship, and interprofessional training.
