Anne Bergner

Anne Bergner is a Professor for Fundamentals of Design and Prototyping at the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart since 2018 and has served as Vice-Rector for Teaching and Artistic Practice since July 2024. Her career spans roles at the Coburg University of Applied Sciences (2009–2018) and guest teaching positions across institutions in India, Germany, and beyond.

Research Focus:
Bergner investigates the Maker Movement and its application in FabLabs, Makerspaces, and educational settings. She emphasizes interdisciplinary communication in innovation processes, design thinking, and prototyping as tools for collaborative problem-solving in creative industries and enterprises.

Scientific Contributions:
Her work includes publications on digital learning labs, agile design management, and design communication. She has received multiple design awards and contributed to academic conferences on technical design and innovation.
