Anne Barron is a Professor of English Linguistics at the Leuphana University Lüneburg, where she has held the W3 professorship since 2011. She previously served as Academic Director of the Language Center at Leuphana (2011-2015), held a W2 professorship at the University of Bayreuth (2010-2011), and worked as an Assistant Professor (akademische Rätin) in Applied English Linguistics at the University of Bonn (2001-2009). She has also held visiting and part-time roles at institutions like the University of Ulster and University College Dublin.
