Dr. Anna Jack-Waugh is a Senior Lecturer in Dementia at the University of the West of Scotland's Alzheimer Scotland Centre for Policy and Practice. A registered mental health nurse and internationally recognized expert, she leads research on advanced dementia experiences, dementia education effectiveness, and interprofessional training models. She co-edits Multi-Species Dementia Studies (Policy Press, 2025) and directs the Carers Academy project (2024-2026).
Research Focus: Lived experiences in advanced dementia, innovative education models, multi-species care frameworks, and international curriculum adaptation. Her work spans collaborations across Europe, Canada, and India.
